What this video project is all about:
The humorous and dysfunctional dating pursuits of Christians. An over the top story of how silly differences and assumptions can confuse singles pursuing dating relationships. The result is an unfortunate dating diary.
A message from the creators:
This video web series uses comedy to address challenges facing Christian singles, highlighting misguided priorities when pursuing dating relationships, and calling to attention the ever so common undesirable advice so often given from church acquaintances, friends, and family.
We hope you find this video series entertaining with a message that is relatable. All videos for this project will be free to view and enjoy. We have three teaser, character intro videos to release for this project. All the teaser videos are self-tape projects. Meaning the actors individually filmed themselves and all the videos were brought together in editing. We started this because of the Covid situation, but it has provided a fun and simple way to start introducing some of the characters and to create additional content. These teasers will lead up to our final video which was filmed in person.
About the creators:
The concept was created by a brother and sister duo (Lance and Renee).
In 2005 we entered the Christian filmmaking scene as our family created three independent Christian feature films in three years. All three films were made with a budget of $15,000 or less. Needless to say, we made every mistake possible. But we did learn some valuable lessons. Lessons that we would not have an opportunity to put back into practice until 15 years later. Soon after our third feature film, we both became sick with mold illness. The struggle with mold illness has been ongoing for over 10 years and we have just recently started to feel well enough to consider trying to make video projects again.
